If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse. The most common causes of this issue are: I also tried running Dolphin as an administrator, but that sadly didn't do anything to fix anything.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. So now it won't tell me I'm using the wrong characters, but much like the controller profiles, the memory card won't show up. Turns out I was an idiot and didn't actually name the card anything. Something that may be of note, though, is that the popup requesting permission to collect data appears every time I launch Dolphin.ĮDIT 2: I tried a little bit on my own, and turns out I have a new problem with memory cards.
#Can you move a save state to dolphin emulator memory card download#
I'll try what you suggest, and hopefully I don't bonk it up.ĮDIT: So I've moved the previous download to a folder on my desktop, and redownloaded Dolphin to Documents > Emulators, like you said you did, but unfortunately I seem to have the same issues as before, being that my settings aren't saved, I can't set a memory card, and it doesn't remember where I told it my games directory was (I didn't mention that last part in the first post, but that's been an issue the whole time), so it looks like I bonked it up. When I click the dropdown, I see no names at all. Then, extract that folder to anywhere that isn't directly Documents or Programs (what I do is Documents > Emulators > Dolphin). I'd suggest you move that whole folder to your Desktop as a backup, then re-download Dolphin from the download page (get the latest dev build by scrolling down). I wouldn't have your Dolphin.exe in the Dolphin Emulator folder in Documents, and it may be the cause of your issues. Does anyone have a solution for my saving troubles? bin files (dcp_coef, dsp_rom, font_ansi, and font_sjis) as well as a text document named font-licenses Most "fixes" I found then lead me to the GC folder, which contains:įour. I've spent all night looking up fixes, but they all mention folders that I can't for the life of me find.įrom the Dolphin folder, there are two folders (Languages, which I assume is self-explanatory, and Sys), the actual launcher for Dolphin, a text document named license, an application extension named OpenA元2.dll, and the uninstaller.įrom Sys, there are seven folders (GameSettings, GC, Maps, Resources, Shaders, Themes, Wii) and two files names codehandler.bin and totaldb.dsy

I did find a fix for this, moving the Dolphin folder from "Programs" to "Documents", but now instead of not being able to save, attempting to save results in an error popup to appear no matter what I named it (error 123: the filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect). The issue used to be that clicking "." in the Gamecube tab of the config menu would take me to a menu where I was supposed to choose where to save the memory card, only issue being that it wouldn't let me save the memory card anywhere. However, trying to create a profile to save those inputs results in the profile not appearing anywhere. My Switch controller connect to my PC, and Dolphin recognizes it and lets me change the inputs as I please. I'm having issues with saving controller profiles and memory cards.
